Rosemont PTA recognized six deserving teachers, staff and community member at its February Founder’s Day event. In addition, the Golden Oak, PTA’s most prestigious award, was presented to music director Rod Yonkers.

Also receiving awards were Margie Fester, Jessica Cole, Jennifer Zimmer, Karen Bomar and Craig Dunkin. School board members Mary Boger, Greg Krikorian, and Christine Walters were on hand to congratulate the recipient.

“The evening was a tremendous success,” said Neda Farhoumand, Rosemont PTA Founder’s Day chair. “[It was an] outstanding turnout for our Founder’s Day event.”
