The verdict is in: Oktoberfest was definitely a hit

What an awesome day for Oktoberfest! The weather was just perfect for an outside community event. There were a lot of people there and I hope you were one of them. There are so many great people that make this event happen, like all of our volunteers who came together and pitched in. We had lots of fun things to do like the best dressed dog contest, Master/Lil Miss Oktoberfest contests, Mr./Mrs. Oktoberfest contests, hot dog eating contest, stein holding contest, games, rides, German food, entertainment and something new this year: Kiwanis Big Duck and Cirque Du Soleil, both a big hit. For 32 years the Chamber has been hosting this event and the feedback has been that this was one of the best!
