Bob Smith Toyota at 3333 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta recently celebrated 25 years at the far north Glendale/Crescenta Valley location. Bob Smith has been a car dealership for 100 years in California but it was 25 years ago they moved onto Foothill where they have become a good neighbor and community supporter while making some great friends.

Mike Smith and his son Pete invited their employees, friends and neighbors to a celebration that included cupcakes and Habit burgers.

“They are family,” said Pete of the employees.

Pete was outside talking to everyone while his dad was inside enjoying the company of old friends. Although they have only been on Foothill for a quarter of their history, they seem to have made friends that will last the next hundred years.
