Crescenta Valley Sheriff detectives on Oct. 7 arrested a man suspected of robbing the Citizens Business Bank in La Cañada Flintridge on June 11, 2010.
The suspect passed a bag and a note to a teller demanding money. As the suspect fled the bank carrying the bag of cash, a secreted dye pack activated, and he abandoned the bag nearby.
An investigation conducted by Crescenta Valley Station detectives led to the service of a search warrant last Thursday at the suspect’s residence in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The suspect, William Alexander, 47, was found at the location and arrested. He was booked for robbery at Crescenta Valley Station and is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
