4900 block of Vicwood Avenue in La Crescenta, several pool sticks and cases along with other personal items were stolen from a locked vehicle overnight.
Jan. 9
1300 block of Salisbury Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a vehicle windshield was smashed overnight.
Jan. 8
Foothill Boulevard and La Cañada Crest Drive in La Canada, a Pacoima man, 31, and a North Hollywood woman, 21, were arrested on suspicion of mail theft and reasonable cause burglary at 2:38 a.m.

2300 block of Mayfield Avenue in Montrose, two guitars were stolen and the front passenger side and rear sliding windows were smashed of a vehicle overnight.
Jan. 3
2300 block of Barton Lane in Montrose, the driver’s side mirror was smashed and a three-inch dent was made in the driver’s side door of a vehicle overnight.

2500 block of Altura Avenue in Montrose, an iPod, digital camera, computer tablet and jewelry were stolen from a home. The resident had secured his residence before leaving but when he returned he found the front door open. He checked inside and reported hearing the sound of the back door slamming. The resident went to the backyard but did not see anything. He contacted the Sheriff’s Department After an investigation it was discovered that several rooms had been ransacked and the reported items were missing.
The residential burglary occurred between Jan. 3 and Jan. 6.
