Partial Eclipse a Treat for Skywatchers

Folks looked skyward on Nov. 18-19 to catch the partial lunar eclipse, the longest partial moon eclipse in 580 years. The eclipse, which lasted three hours and 28 minutes, occurred when the moon passed through the Earth’s shadow. This photo was taken from the balcony of a house in Santa Clarita.
