The Crescenta Valley United Softball 12U team won its division in the Burbank City Fall Softball League. “We are so proud of these athletes for working hard and having fun,” said parent Paul Weinberg. The girls were led by coaches Kris Bruvold, Daniel Shepard, Mike Herman and Christian Soto.

LASD personnel served a search warrant this morning on a house on La Crescenta Avenue above Foothill Boulevard. There was a lot of sheriff activity in the area. The search warrant resulted in the arrest of a female suspect who is now in custody, according a spokesperson with the CV Sheriff’s Station.
