In 2012, the YMCA of the Foothills launched a Chaplain Services Program available to everyone in the community to come alongside anyone for encouragement and support in a caring and compassionate way. Led by Chaplain Mark Yeager, the Chaplain Services program will listen to anyone who needs help or guidance and recommend fitting strategies to navigate their lives forward in a positive direction. The program also collaborates with professional community resources to further improve quality of life.

On Tuesday, Feb. 5, there will be a chaplain services orientation night for anyone interested in learning more about the program or becoming a chaplain for the Y. The orientation will take place at the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA at 7 p.m.
