Evening Kiwanis Inducts New Members

The newly formed Business Evening Kiwanis Club, a subsidiary organization of the Noon Kiwanis, meets monthly at various restaurants in the city. The offshoot of the Noon 98-plus member club, which meets weekly at Descanso Gardens, was designed to accommodate business members who can’t attend weekly noontime meetings. New members are members of the Noon club but only are obligated to attend the special dinner meetings. They can attend any selected Noon meeting they wish to attend.

At a recent Noon meeting, three new members became Kiwanians by being inducted into the club. One new member is Chad Skrederstu who owns 168 Fitness, a health and fitness business in La Crescenta. His hobbies are surfing, traveling and trying new types of food. He’s a member of both the La Cañada Flintridge and La Crescenta chambers of commerce.

Kendyl Young is division chief realtor of Diggs Realty. She’s a member of Calif. Assoc. of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors’ Glendale Assoc. of Realtors and Inman Top 1100 Most Influential Leaders in real estate. Her hobbies are social media, web design, Internet marketing, cooking, knitting, Taiko drumming and hiking.

The last inductee was Vanessa Terzian, managing attorney at La Cañada Flintridge Terzian Law. Her hobbies are going to the beach, reading, playing basketball with her two sons and gardening.
