Questions the Wisdom of a Writer
That was an interesting proposal from the 17-year-old to have people who become old at age 50 take three-part driving tests every five years because we (yup, I am old) are driving hazards (Letters to the Editor, Aug. 27).
Actually, the problems are with young drivers her age and up who speed, go through stop signs since these are only a suggestion, as the old joke goes, and every so often do not stop at a red traffic light.
I wonder if the writer has ever been on Glenoaks Boulevard on a weekend night?
