The Crescenta Valley Town Council has been diligently working on important community issues to ensure the well-being and prosperity of our neighborhood. Here are some important updates to consider:
LA County Public Works sent us the following information regarding the updated Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) ordinance and the LA County Bicycle Master Plan Phase III Virtual Community Meeting: For the ADU ordinance, please submit your written public comments on the draft to Ken Warner at kwarner@planning.lacounty.gov before the public hearing on April 24. The latest draft of the Amendment and FAQs on the ADU ordinance can be found at https://planning.lacounty.gov/long-range-planning/adu-ordinance-amendment/.
Another important issue is the Los Angeles County Bicycle Master draft. During fall 2023, LA County Public Works gathered the community’s input on the draft bicycle network for unincorporated Los Angeles County and the County flood control channels. The project team refined the network with your input and is ready to share the updated network. Help rank the proposed improvements and programs for inclusion in the final plan and future implementation. Join their virtual community meeting, take the survey or visit them at a local event or meeting in your community.
Mark your calendars for the LA County Bicycle Master Plan Phase III Virtual Community Meeting on Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. via Zoom using Meeting ID: 859 8791 4791. You can also call (213) 338-8477 to participate in the meeting. Your voice matters – so do not miss this opportunity to shape our community’s future.
Join us at a drug awareness presentation by the CHP in partnership with our Crescenta Valley Youth Town Council on Thursday, April 25 from 6–7 p.m. at the La Crescenta Library, 2809 Foothill Blvd. The poster is on our website (https://thecvcouncil.com) and our social media accounts.
Our next general meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. at the La Crescenta Library. Your input and participation are vital in shaping the future of Crescenta Valley, so we encourage you to attend and stay informed about local issues.
Together we can work towards building a stronger and more vibrant community. Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Crescenta Valley a great place to live.
