Through the generosity of attendees and supporters at the Feb. 28 LCPC Parent Education Gala, Young Life Capernaum, Greater Pasadena received $8,855 as the event’s charity honoree. YLC works with intellectually and developmentally disabled teens and young adults. Its mission is to create spaces of belonging for Capernaum students through faith-based fun and adventure while developing friendships, challenging their limits and building self-esteem.

Throughout the year, Parent Ed has helped support Friday night YLC activities including the YLC prom in May.

Entering its 45th year of helping families thrive, Parent Ed offers classes for parents and grandparents of babies to young adults. Currently, Parent Ed offers 19 classes including two online options and three Parent Express classes that meet in the evening.
