Church Announces New Series on Personal Financial Management
All are invited to attend First Baptist Church’s Financial Peace University that will offer instruction on how to get out of debt, stay out of debt and build wealth.
The 13-week course is taught via DVD by Dave Ramsey and held on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. It started June 26. The classes take place in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church at La Crescenta. For questions or to sign up, call (818) 249-5832.

“Chronicles” Screening at Bethel
On Tuesday, July 5, Bethel Church is offering a free showing of the video, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” preceded by a potluck supper.
The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m.; the video starts at 7:15 p.m. followed by dessert and discussion at about 9:15 p.m.
