This event is sponsored by the Friday Forums program of La Cañada Presbyterian Church and the Center for Faith and Enterprise www.faithandenterprise.org, and will take place on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at La Cañada Presbyterian Church.  The event is free and open to the public.

Patterson to Visit St. Luke’s
St. Luke’s in partnership with Once Upon A Time Bookstore in Montrose is presenting Victoria Patterson, author and South Pasadena resident of “This Vacant Paradise,” reading from her acclaimed first novel at St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church on Sunday May 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. “This Vacant Paradise” has received rave reviews from the New York Times and Los Angeles Times. This is a champagne and lemonade event, book reading and signing. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

“Suit Yourself Day” Coming Up
La Cañada Presbyterian Church is holding “Suit Yourself Day” on Sunday, May 15 from noon – 3 p.m. LCPC and non-profit “Clothes the Deal” are inviting donors to drive-thru the LCPC parking lot to donate suits to men and women in need. Those making donations are invited enjoy a fun afternoon which will include a family-friendly event with a carnival atmosphere. There will be food trucks, a bouncy house for the kids, free Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt for the first 100 suit donors and other free giveaways.
