Today, Sunday, Crescenta Valley Deputy Afsharian initiated a pursuit of a reckless vehicle on the southbound 2 freeway near Mountain Avenue. At 12:31 p.m. today, Thursday, a CVHS student was struck by a car at Ramsdell and Prospect avenues while crossing the street. LA County Fire Dept. and CHP responded and the pedestrian was transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, according to CHP. No information was released regarding the driver.
