2900 block of Mary Street in La Crescenta, the driver’s side rear passenger window was shattered on a vehicle overnight.

Dec. 12
400 block of Knight Way in La Cañada Flintridge, about a month ago a business owner received a letter from a company that provided software for her business stating that someone had gained access to the company’s files and had stolen the majority of its customer’s personal information. Due to this theft, she was advised to notify her bank, which she did. She recently was contacted by the bank’s customer service representative who told her that someone had used her ATM card to charge an airline ticket with a European destination.  She had not authorized this purchase.

2700 block of Willowhaven Drive in La Crescenta, someone used a man’s personal information, including his Social Security number, date of birth and name, without his permission to apply for credit cards. The incident occurred between Nov. 21 and Dec. 12.

Dec. 11
4400 Hobbs Drive in La Cañada, a purse with several credit and department store cards as well as personal information were stolen from a vehicle. When the victim arrived home later that day, she contacted the credit card companies to cancel her cards. She found two of the credit cards had been used without her authorization moments after she discovered her purse missing. The purse was stolen between 4:55 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

4900 block of La Crescenta Avenue in La Crescenta, a woman reported that she had received a letter stating that someone had filed a tax return using her information without her permission.
