In the United States, every two seconds someone needs blood. More than 41,000 blood donations are needed every day. Donors can help save up to three lives by giving blood.

To schedule an appointment visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code glendaleadventist. All participants will receive a commemorative American Red Cross long sleeve T-shirt while supplies last.

For more information, call (818) 992-2008.

Winter Break Equals Traffic Light
Local traffic will continue being “winter break light” through Jan. 7. Schools in the Glendale Unified School District started winter break last week resulting in fewer vehicles on area roads while parent chaperones take some much needed time off.
