CVW is reaching out to the public to get their questions answered about COVID-19.
From the vaccine to unemployment, CVW will provide information that will hopefully lighten the confusion surrounding this pandemic. Many readers have contacted CVW with issues concerning the pandemic and how it affects their lives.
Elected officials and medical experts will be the sources used to provide factual information.
CVW staff shares in the COVID fatigue that has resulted from the over nine months of isolation, face coverings, social distancing, virtual everything and rising numbers of those infected with COVID-19. We also mourn the death of so many people who were lost to the pandemic, and share in the gratitude for front line workers for their ever-present strength.
In an 1817 letter from Thomas Jefferson to George Ticknor about the establishment of a state university, he stated that knowledge is power, that knowledge is safety and that knowledge is happiness.
It is on this philosophy that CVW is basing its outreach and we are asking our readers to reach out to share their concerns, as always, in a respectful manner. CVW has established a dedicated email address to submit these concerns and we are working on other communication tools for the public to use in the future.
CVW will keep anonymous the identity of those submitting questions and will work hard to find the answers to these questions.
Please email questions to covidquestions@cvweekly.com.
