On Saturday, Dec. 5 at approximately 1:30 a.m., GPD officers were dispatched to the area of Central Avenue and Laurel Street regarding a report of gunshots heard along with a vehicle driving erratically and running stop signs in the area.
Officers quickly located the vehicle nearby and discovered one of its occupants had been shot. Officers initiated life-saving measures to treat the 28-year-old male until members of the Glendale Fire Dept. arrived and transported him to the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers checked the area and located the scene of the original shooting. Members of the Glendale Police Dept.’s Detective Bureau and Forensics team responded to the scene. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and the investigation is still underway.
