AT&T Hearing Delayed
The Dec. 5 Regional Planning Commission hearing that included information regarding the proposed installation of an AT&T small cell on Briggs Avenue was postponed in response to the day of mourning declared for President George H.W. Bush. On Dec. 12 a new date for the hearing is expected to be announced.
Annual College Dance Production
The annual Glendale Community College faculty/alumni dance production will be held over three days with four performances on the Auditorium Mainstage.
Performances are Friday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.
and 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. Admission is free. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Early arrival is advised. Children under 5 years old are not admitted.
Dancers in the show include students enrolled in the GCC jazz performance skills, dance production and other dance classes. The choreography is by faculty, alumni and guests.

Skate & Scoot Competition
The CV Skate Park is the location of a skate and scoot competition being held on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Scooter riders will be competing from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; skateboarders from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Free entry. Beginner to advance riders invited. Prizes will be awarded.

Rosemont Preserve Restoration Day
The community is invited to the Rosemont Preserve Restoration Day on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. to help protect the natural habitat at Rosemont Preserve. Volunteers will be removing non-native plants and doing some light trail maintenance.
Wear sturdy shoes, comfortable clothes and garden gloves (long pants and sleeves are recommended). Tools will be available.
The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Ave.
This event is free to the public and suitable for all ages and no reservations required. Rain cancels event. Sorry, no pets please.

Plans Finalized for Inaugural Gala
The Armenian American Museum inaugural gala is takes place on Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood.
The inaugural event brings together donors, supporters, public officials, and community leaders for a memorable evening to celebrate and support the landmark project.
The Museum will be honoring the Glendale City Council for securing premier land for the landmark project as well as California State Senator Anthony J. Portantino, California State Senate President pro Tempore Emeritus Kevin de León, California State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, and California State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon for securing major funding from the State of California.
