Nov. 25

900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a large family had dinner at a local restaurant. During the evening the large group became “rowdy” at times and one man in the group was “quite intoxicated.” When the time came to pay, the bill was split into several smaller bills. Some paid with cash, one person paid with a card. Out of the 12 meals, only seven were paid for at the end of the night. An employee confronted some of the family members outside of the restaurant and was told it was not their problem.

The incident occurred at 8:30 p.m.

 

Nov. 23

3000 block of Markridge Road in La Crescenta, six purses and nine decorative pill containers were stolen from a home at 7:36 p.m.

 

Nov. 20

4700 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, a water main pipe and sprinkler valves were vandalized by someone causing a yard to be flooded between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

 

200 block of Baptiste Way in La Cañada, a family returned from attending a funeral and found their home had been ransacked. Surveillance video revealed three unknown men wearing dark clothing exit from an outer gate, enter a vehicle across the street and drive east bound on Baptiste Way. When deputies arrived and walked through the home they discovered a small bag containing a gold necklace that did not belong to the homeowner. The item may have been from another burglary by the same suspects in the area. A window at the home was broken; the owner had not determined what had been stolen at the time of the report.

The burglary occurred at 7:37 p.m.

 

4800 block of Grand Avenue in La Cañada, a resident was reviewing his “Ring” camera footage and said that two men, one described as black balaclava (cap), thick blue jacket, black pants, blue shoes, dark colored gloves and a gray backpack. The other man was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood covering his face.

The suspects walked toward the camera toward the locked gate leading to the backyard of the home, then walked past the camera again. The suspects then walked toward the street and out of view. About a minute later, both suspects walked up the driveway. One suspect stopped in front of the camera, stepped up on a retaining wall, reached towards the camera and, with his gloved hand, obscured the cameras viewing the video feed.

The incident occurred between 6:54 p.m. and 6:56 p.m.

2100 block of La Cañada Crest Drive in La Cañada, a package was stolen from a home between Nov. 16 and Nov. 18.
