Nov. 12

4600 block of Leir Drive in La Cañada Flintridge; when a woman arrived home she heard the house alarm going. She entered her house and discovered the kitchen window had been smashed. She could hear a noise in the bedroom, which sounded like someone was opening and closing dresser drawers. She immediately ran to her car, locked herself inside and was preparing to call 9-1-1 when the alarm company called her.

After she ended the call a man wearing a black/grey hoodie ran out from her backyard, dropping a box he was holding as he ran. The man entered a black Volkswagen Atlas and drove away. Deputies were not able to find the suspect. No items were reported missing at the time.

The resident identified the box of items the suspect dropped as her property. The residential burglary occurred at 11:57 a.m.

Nov. 8

600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge; a man went into a connivence store and purchased items. When he arrived home he realized his vaccination card was missing from his wallet. He went back to the store and asked to view the surveillance footage. After a few days he was told that footage showed he had left his vaccination card on the counter when he was paying for his items. The man walked out of the store and a woman came up to the counter and took his vaccination card.

The incident occurred at noon.

Nov. 2

2900 block of Franklin Street in La Crescenta, a resident reported she had received a letter from her bank stating her credit was used to request a loan. She did not apply for a loan nor did she give anyone permission to apply in her name. The bank representative said it appeared the suspect who applied for the loan had walked into a bank branch office and completed the application.

The incident occurred between midnight and 11:59 p.m.
