Oct. 26
2800 block of Francis Avenue in La Crescenta, an umbrella, iPod, iPod adapter and a battery were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The incident occurred overnight between Oct. 16-17.

Oct. 25
2900 block of Santa Carlotta in La Crescenta, a global positioning system was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between Oct. 20-23.
2700 block of El Caminito Drive in La Crescenta, a digital camera was stolen from a home while the resident was asleep between 6:45 am. and 8:30 a.m.
2900 block of Orange Avenue in La Crescenta, an iPod and global positioning system were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

Oct. 24
2800 block of Alta Terrace in La Crescenta, lens filters, iPod, leather jacket, jewelry box, several DVD, laptop computer, battery charger, two cameras and goggles were stolen from a home.  The resident stated she might have left a side door unlocked between 1:45 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.
2800 block of Henrietta Avenue in La Crescenta, someone attempted to enter a resident’s garage through the side window. The homeowner noticed the screen to a garage window had been taken off and placed on the ground. There appeared to be a flat handprint on the glass window. The incident occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
2900 Orange Avenue in La Crescenta, a resident reported hearing a knock on his front door.  When he went to his door, about five minutes later, there was no one there.  He then heard a loud noise in his backyard.  He looked out the window and saw a man described as white, 5’9”, 170 to 190 pounds, 25 to 30-years-old with a shaved head and scratches on his face.  When the man saw the resident he fled at 1:50 p.m.
2700 block of Fairmont Avenue in La Crescenta, a laptop computer, iTouch phone, jewelry and cash was stolen from a home between Oct. 22-23.

Oct. 23
3800 block of Paraiso Way in La Crescenta, a woman reported that while she was in the living room of her home she heard a loud crash in her laundry room. She went downstairs and unlocked the laundry room door and was confronted by a man described as white, 5’8”, 150 pound, 20 to 30-years-old with brown hair wearing blue jeans and sandals.  He apparently had removed the unlocked window from its track and entered the home.  She asked him how he got in the house he said he had walked through the front door, which was actually locked.  He told her he was in the wrong house and left out the front door, unlocking it first.  The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m.
