Oct. 26
3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, gardening tools were stolen from a truck at 1:10 p.m.

 

Oct. 25
600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, the sliding glass door was shattered and doors leading to a pharmacy were smashed. Surveillance footage revealed three suspects, all in dark clothing and wearing hooded sweatshirts, approaching the front of the store. After one suspect shattered the window, they all entered the rear of the store. It did not appear the suspects stole anything; they were apparently unable to get through the metal roll-down security doors in the pharmacy. The burglary occurred at 1:58 a.m.

 

Oct. 23
2300 block of Del Mar Road in Montrose, a vehicle was vandalized overnight.

 

Oct. 22
3700 block of Normandy Drive in La Cañada, a bag containing workout clothes, several sunglasses, a tennis racket and mail were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

2500 block of Piedmont Avenue in Montrose, a catalytic converter was stolen off a vehicle between Oct. 22 and Oct. 25

 

Oct. 11
1600 block of Earlmont Avenue in La Cañada, several members of a family received text messages from someone unknown asking for their PIN to their cell service accounts. Some members did not share the information but one did after being offered money. The unknown person who received the PIN information allegedly used that number to deactivate one of the cellphones, ordered and activated a new iPhone between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.

 

Oct. 20
1200 block of Olive Lane in La Cañada, the front passenger window was shattered and a purse and personal information were stolen from a vehicle overnight.

 

Oct. 17
1000 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, a woman placed her iPhone on a counter at a store, made her purchases and left. Once home she realized she had left her phone on the counter. She tracked her phone and found it was at a location in Palmdale. She had not contacted the store where she had left the cellphone.
This theft occurred at 4 p.m.

 

Oct. 15
2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a student put his violin case, which contained his violin and bow, on top of his locker in the gym. He attended physical education class and when he returned his violin had been stolen between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

 

Aug. 29
5100 block of Crown Avenue in La Cañada, a resident reported that over the course of several months she would occasionally hire cleaning women. She recently discovered several items missing from her home.
The thefts occurred between May 9 and Aug. 29.
