5500 block of Godbey Drive in La Cañada, the driver side rear sliding door window was shattered on a vehicle between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

 

 

Oct. 17

800 block of Wiladonda Drive in La Cañada, several items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

 

 

Oct. 16

4000 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada, while a resident was in his home he heard the sound of glass breaking in the bedroom door. He approached the door to investigate, pulled the curtain back and saw a suspect, described as a black male, 5’1” tall, standing on the patio. He then saw another male suspect. Both suspects fled the location by jumping over a fence in the resident’s backyard. The resident ran to the front door of his home and saw the suspects enter a silver sedan and quickly drive away from the area.

The attempted burglary occurred at 1:40 p.m.

 

 

2300 block of Pickens Canyon Road in La Crescenta, after a trip to Big Bear a resident realized she had left her wallet at a restaurant she had visited. She called the restaurant and was told her wallet had been found and that it would be mailed to her. When the wallet didn’t arrive when it was scheduled she contacted the USPS and was told it had been delivered. She never received the package but did remember seeing on the day USPS said it was delivered a person, described as a black male, about 20 years old with a thin build and small dreaded ponytail hair style, walk away from her door step. At the time the man was wearing a neon yellow shirt. She did not think anything about it at the time thinking it was another delivery person. 

The package was stolen from the resident between Oct. 16 at 1:38 p.m. and Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.

 

 

Oct. 9

200 block of Lamour Drive in La Cañada, a resident returned home to find her mailbox and that of her neighbor were open and empty. She also discovered a package was missing that had been recorded as delivered to her home.

The mail theft occurred between Oct. 9 at 5:52 p.m. and Oct. 10 at 9 a.m.
