4200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in La Crescenta, a 47-year-old Palmdale man was cited for driving without a valid California driver’s license and having registration tags on his vehicle that were dated 2018 but records indicated his registration was expired and he did not have proof of insurance. The traffic stop was made at 4:52 p.m.

Oct. 12
3500 block of Harmony Place in La Crescenta, a 43-year-old Montrose man was arrested after detectives discovered several tools commonly used in burglaries and apparent stolen property in the man’s possession. The detectives were at the location serving a search warrant in regard to stolen property taken during a burglary. The man is an active parolee for burglary. The arrest was made at 3:45 p.m.

900 block of Town Center Drive in La Cañada, a woman discovered pry marks on all four doors of her vehicle while it was parked in the underground parking lot at the location. Attempts to gain entry into the vehicle were not successful. The attempted vehicle burglary occurred between 7:45 p.m. and 9 p.m.
