At about 10:35 Friday morning Glendale police responded to the 3900 block of Los Olivos Lane concerning a suspicious circumstance report.
A resident was in his front yard when he noticed a truck described as a silver Chevy Tahoe backing into his neighbor’s driveway. There was a man assisting the truck backing up. He was described as in his 20s, 6’2” tall, with a thin build. He was wearing jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, according to Tahnee Lightfoot, GPD spokeswoman.
When the man saw the neighbor, the driver and passenger in the Tahoe drove away and the man who was in the driveway jumped the fence landing in the wash below and fled. Patrol officers and air support searched the area but did not find the truck or suspects.
The neighbor, believing the three people were attempting to burglarize his neighbor’s home, contacted GPD. Officers drove through the neighborhoods searching for the suspects but did not find them or the truck.
Anyone with information is asked to contact GPD at (818) 548-4911.
