Students and adults from Crescenta Valley spent Saturday morning Running Under the Oaks, a 5K that supports local events and a scholarship program.

The annual 5K run is sponsored by the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce and the funds raised go to local schools and the Chamber’s scholarship program, among other interests.

The overall first place winner in the men’s division was Luke Cheney.
