Remembrance Motorcade Winds Its Way Through Crescenta Valley

The Crescenta Valley 9/11 Patriot Day Rembrance Motorcade made its way through La Crescenta, far north Glendale and La Cañada Flintridge on Friday, Sept. 9. The motorcade consisted of classic vehicles and emergency responders, including fire and law enforcement vehicles, that drove past local schools and organizations as students and community members waved flags and yelled their “thank yous” to emergency responders. The motorcade traveled about 11.2 miles with an estimated number of 8,000 students taking part in the observance.
