Fire Departments Respond to Brush Fire

Los Angeles City Fire Dept. responded to a fire in the Shadow Hills area near 10018 North Sunland Boulevard. The call came in at 1:03 p.m. on Wednesday. As of 4:26 p.m. it burned about 107 acres in light-to-medium brush. The fire moved uphill in about eight mile an hour winds.

“However, the forward progress of the fire has been stopped,” according as spokesman with LA City Fire Dept.

LA County Fire camp crews are assisting.
