Six officers – Ryan Varela, Albert Nazaryan, Charlton Vidal, Mitchel Tompkins, Armand Simian and Thomas Onderdonk – were officially sworn in as Glendale’s newest police officers.

New employees who were introduced during the ceremony were police communications operators Maria Castaneda, Ani Harutyunyan, Tatevik Harutyunyan, police custody officer Diana Doran and public safety business administrator Alison Finch.

Toby Darby was promoted to police lieutenant.
