However, the suspect did not help her credit score improve and did not provide appropriate service. The victim’s husband contacted the suspect and shared his dissatisfaction with his performance.

They contacted each other using the “WhatsApp” messenger service. The suspect became upset by the victim complaining and told the victim to step outside his house for a face-to-face meeting. The victim stepped outside his home to find the suspect sitting in the driver’s seat of the suspect’s vehicle. An argument between the victim and suspect ensued regarding the credit repair service. At one point the suspect told the victim to approach his vehicle so they could hear each other without arguing. The victim walked to the driver’s side window and the suspect suddenly struck the victim in the face. The suspect’s vehicle door was shut; he threw the punch through the open window. The victim, in an attempt to protect himself, attempted to grab the suspect. But the suspect avoided being grabbed and “slowly” drove away. The victim reached in and grabbed the suspect’s seatbelt as the vehicle drove slowly away. The vehicle continued to move for about 10 feet, as the victim continued to hold onto the seatbelt, until the vehicle stopped and the victim released the grip on the seatbelt and the driver drove away.
