La City Fire reported this morning, Tuesday, that  the La Tuna Fire is at 70% containment.

The Foothill (210) Freeway is open, including the off- and on-ramps and all lanes; on Monday,  the right lanes in both directions were closed.

There is still a soft closures of some neighborhoods. This means residents must have identification in order to enter. Those areas include Sunland and Tuxford Place, La Tuna Canyon and Honolulu Avenue, Foothill Boulevard and Kagel Canyon and Foothill Boulevard and Osborne Street.  

Five single-family homes have been destroyed.
