Drug Arrest Near CVHS

A man was arrested last week for allegedly selling drugs near Crescenta Valley High School campus.

We were notified by students they had been approached by a young adult male asking if they would like to buy drugs,Dep. Wurzer, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept./CV Station.

LASD School Resource Officer Deputy Scott Shinagawa and LASD deputies investigated and found the suspect who appeared to be attempting to sell marijuana and Xanax.

He was walking around with a backpack and almost looked like a student,Wurzer said.

Wurzer praised the students for alerting authorities to the crime.

We were very glad they brought it to our attention,he said.
