A man was arrested last week for allegedly selling drugs near Crescenta Valley High School campus.
“We were notified by students they had been approached by a young adult male asking if they would like to buy drugs,” Dep. Wurzer, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept./CV Station.
LASD School Resource Officer Deputy Scott Shinagawa and LASD deputies investigated and found the suspect who appeared to be attempting to sell marijuana and Xanax.
“He was walking around with a backpack and almost looked like a student,” Wurzer said.
Wurzer praised the students for alerting authorities to the crime.
“We were very glad they brought it to our attention,” he said.
