California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Dept. responded to a vehicle verses pedestrian at 6:35 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of Fairmount Avenue.
Neither agency released any additional information; however, witnesses reported seeing paramedics responding to a male on the ground after being struck by a vehicle. The vehicle’s driver reportedly stated the sun was in his eyes and he did not see the pedestrian.
A witness on social media reported the male victim was a teenager and was responsive after he was struck.
