CV Weekly Closed – for Labor Day
The offices of CV Weekly will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Glendale Beautiful Hosting Dinner
Glendale Beautiful invites the community to its 64th annual fall dinner, catered by Damon’s, on Friday, Sept. 5, starting at 5:30 p.m. for socializing, followed by dinner at 6 p.m. in the courtyard of the Casa Adobe de San Rafael, 1330 Dorothy Drive, Glendale. In case of rain the event will be moved to Joe Bridges Clubhouse, 2351 E. Glenoaks Blvd.

Enjoy entertainment from J.R. Wright, singing Keyboard Kowboy, with his hot country rockin’ oldies. Paul Rabinov will introduce the proposed Arroyo Verdugo Pedestrian/Bike Trail feasibility study.

The cost is $30 per person. There will be opportunity prizes; tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5.
