Aug. 18
19600 N. Trail Canyon Road in Angeles National Forest, a camera bag, GoPro camera, cash and a wallet were stolen and the rear passenger window shattered on a vehicle between 9 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.

 

Aug. 16
900 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada, deputies responded to an alarm concerning a business. When deputies arrived they discovered a glass window was shattered and pry marks on the door. Nothing was reported stolen at the time. The manager reviewed the surveillance footage and saw two unknown male adults wearing black hoodies enter the store with a crowbar at 4:15 a.m.

 

Aug. 14
4300 block of Chevy Chase Drive in La Cañada, a resident who is a doctor reported that he had received threatening texts from a patient. The threats included that the person texting was going to come to his office with a gun to kill him. 12:33 a.m.

 

Aug. 13
2200 block of Florencita Avenue in Montrose, a resident reported that when he walked to his vehicle he saw a man in his apartment garage described as a white male, 18-to-22 years of age with curly hair wearing a white shirt and green shorts. When the male saw the resident he fled the area. The resident chased the man for about a half a block. The man recovered boxes of new windshield wipers he had purchased the day before that apparently fell out of the suspect’s backpack onto the street. Keys were missing from his vehicle. The incident occurred at 4:20 a.m.

 

1200 block of Lanternman Lane in La Cañada, vehicle registration and personal items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

4200 block of Shepherds Lane in La Cañada, jewelry and several personal items were stolen from a vehicle overnight.
