2900 block of Community Avenue in La Crescenta, a gym bag was stolen from the track and field at Crescenta Valley High School. A man reported he placed his bag at the edge of the field while playing soccer with friends and when he returned the bag was gone between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
July 14
Montrose Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard in La Crescenta, a woman reported that as she was stopped at a signal light someone threw a brownish liquid on the rear of her vehicle.  She was in the right lane preparing to turn right at the time.  She then felt her vehicle being struck from behind. She witnessed a white, faded 1990s Chevy Van behind her car. The van was pushing her car. She moved forward and the van drove between her and the curb line of Montrose Avenue. The van turned right and drove away. The brown liquid appeared to be coffee. The driver of the van was described as a male Hispanic between 40 and 50 years old with black hair.
The incident occurred at 11:05 a.m.
4400 block of Glenwood Avenue in La Crescenta, an iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
