Los Angeles County Public Health will not be updating numbers related to COVID-19 from July 3-6. Numbers of positive cases continue to climb in LA County. Here is the information released by Public Health as of 8 p.m. on July 1:

Public Health confirmed 55 new deaths due to COVID-19 bring the total number of deaths in LA County to 3,454.

Public Health confirmed 2,204 new positive cases of COVID-19 bringing the total of cases in LA County to 107,667.

At USC Verdugo Hills Hospital as of July 1 at 7:27 a.m. there were 10 patients that had tested positive for COVID-19 currently in the hospital, 149 patients had been sent home and 35 patients had been transferred. There were 57 patients hospitalized that had tested negative for COVID-19, 1,910 patients had been sent home and 11 were transferred. There were 13 patients with COVID-19 tests pending in the hospital and 13 had been sent home.
