LASD Homicide Bureau Investigators arrest Aramazd Andressian Sr., for the murder of his missing son.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. Homicide investigators coordinated the arrest with LA County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau Fugitive Taskforce, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept. CAPE (Major Violator/Narcotics Crimes Bureau), Homicide Section and the Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Taskforce of the United States Marshals Service.
The suspect was booked at Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department with a bail of $10 million dollars and will return to Los Angeles County pending the extradition process.
After reviewing all of the evidence in this case, Homicide Investigators presented the facts to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and obtained a murder filling against the suspect.
Aramazd Andressian Jr. is a 5-year-old boy who was last seen in the early morning hours of Friday, April 21 when he was in the custody of his father, Aramazd Andressian Sr.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will discuss more details about the case at a press conference on Monday, June 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hall of Justice.
