Joshua Corbett, 39, from La Crescenta pled not guilty on Tuesday to felony counts of first degree residential burglary, stalking and possession of a machine gun.

Corbett allegedly broke into the Los Angeles home of actress Sandra Bullock early on Sunday morning.

“The police responded to a 911 call,” said district attorney spokesman Greg Risling.

Although Corbett was charged with possession of a machine gun he did not have it in his possession when he allegedly broke into the home, Risling said.

Corbett is being held on a $185,000 bail. He will be in court again for a preliminary hearing on July 2.
