Property Recovered from Burglaries

Investigators from the Los Angeles Police Department West Valley Burglary have recovered more than 3,000 pieces of jewelry and other items during their investigation related to the “Knock Knock” burglaries. The suspects received this name because, as seen on surveillance video, they would go to the front door of a victim’s residence and knock to see if anyone was home.

The detectives believe that the items recovered during their investigation are stolen and they are in search of the owners of the property.

The items were recovered at the Beverly Hills home of a man who owns a pawn brokerage store, said Sgt. Debra Herman, L.A. Sheriff’s Department, Crescenta Valley Station.

Several residents in La Cañada, La Crescenta and Glendale have been burglarized. The sheriff’s station advises anyone who may have been a victim of a burglary and has yet to recover their property to contact the LAPD property department at (213) 356-3700.
