600 block of Houseman Street in La Cañada, several items were stolen and a glass door of a residence was shattered between 9:30 a.m. and 6:50 p.m.

May 23
2600 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, an employee at Ralph’s market reported that he had witnessed a woman enter the store, select specific items and place them in a shopping cart. She then walked out of the store without attempting to pay for the items. She walked into the parking lot and began placing the items inside the trunk of her black Toyota Corolla. When the employee asked why she did not pay for the items she got into her vehicle and drove out of the parking lot. The woman was described as 60 years old, weighing 100 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
The theft occurred at 9:50 a.m.

500 block of Knights Way in La Cañada, a man reported that as he was working at the location he parked and left his unlocked truck on the street in front of the residence and went to work in another part of the location. When he returned he discovered his vehicle had been stolen. He was in possession of all of the keys to the truck. He reported it stolen to the deputies and it was then found in a nearby location; however, several pieces of gardening equipment were missing.
The theft occurred at 1:21 p.m.

600 block of Derwood Drive in La Cañada, a gas powered leaf blower was stolen from the front of a residence at 2:20 p.m.

4700 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, a vehicle battery charger and cash were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

4800 block of La Cañada Boulevard in La Cañada, cash, several sunglasses, a vehicle manual, iPhone charger and vehicle registration were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.

5400 block of Ocean View Boulevard in La Cañada, sunglasses and prescription glasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

2700 block of El Caminito Street in La Crescenta, a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle between May 21-23.

1100 block of Fairview Drive in La Cañada, jewelry and shoes were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight.
