On May 19, California Highway Patrol officers responded to a traffic incident in the 2400 block of Janet Lee Drive. The vehicle had traveled in reverse westbound on Janet Lee from Briggs Avenue, struck a small cement retaining wall on the north side of the street, crossed over a driveway and went into the yard of a home. The vehicle was stopped by a fence post.

The male driver was identified as Ji Hun Kim, 54. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Officer released the cause of death as heart attack.
