Fireworks Planned to Ignite the Independence Day Skies

The Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association announced that on Monday, July 4 it will once again be putting on its annual fireworks display at Crescenta Valley High School.

“The fireworks committee is working hard to give all of the attendees another great show,” said President Mike Shaar. He added that in 2021 Health Department restrictions prevented attendees onto the high school field. “In 2022, the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association welcomes everyone back to the CV football field.”

In addition to having the field available again, efforts are being made to coordinate to having up to nine food trucks on-site as well as providing a dining area. Plans include an assortment of inflatable rides for kids to enjoy.

Prior to the show there will be live entertainment including headliner The Mary-Dyer Band.

Shaar said that the CV Fireworks Association relies on the generous donations from members of the community, as well as some private and public funding. Tickets will be available on the day of the event for $10 per person. Advance ticket sales will be available at a discounted price. Gates will open at 3 p.m.

The Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association is a non-profit, 100% volunteer run organization and all funds received are used to pay for the show.

“As always, we appreciate any support the community provides us,” Shaar said. “We look forward to seeing everyone at the show!”
