The 5th Annual Armed Forces Day was held on Saturday at the Crescenta Valley Park. The event was sponsored by the American Legion Post 288, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1614, Moose Lodge #641, Outlaw Garage, Early Rodders, Rydell Chevrolet, Pinnacle Disposal, La Crescenta Pharmacy, The Band Inferno and Harmony Farms.

The event included a show that filled the park with classic cars, hot rods and specialty vehicles, including several from law enforcement and the military.

It was also a time to honor in memoriam Roy Allmon who was a Vietnam veteran and a member of both American Legion Post 288 and VFW Post 1614 as well as a strong community supporter.
