May 19

3100 block of Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta, a video surveillance showed two suspects, described as black adult males, both in their 20s. The first suspect was bald and wore an orange hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a white stripe down the pant leg and green shoes. The second suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt over his head that had several different country flags on the sleeve, dark blue jeans and black shoes. Suspect one was witnessed, via surveillance footage, exiting the rear of a business; suspect two exited the building carrying a black purse and black shoes. They walked to the rear of the parking lot and out of view. An employee at the business reported her purse had been stolen at 2:43 p.m.

 

May 18

3900 block of Alta Vista Drive in La Cañada, deputies responded to the location concerning a burglary alarm and found the rear upstairs master bedroom door had been smashed. The deputies observed glass debris on the ground beneath the door. Further investigation found the home had been ransacked. The point of entry appeared to be the rear master bedroom glass door and the exit was the front door. Several items of jewelry were reported stolen.

The burglary occurred between 3 p.m. and 3:55 p.m.

 

May 15

2700 Rock Pine Lane in La Crescenta, a resident reported that while he was in the restroom of his master bedroom of his home he heard what sounded like pebbles being thrown against the window. Seconds after that he heard the shattering of the sliding glass door in back of his home. He stepped outside the restroom and saw a man halfway into his bedroom walking in from the backyard. He yelled and the suspect left the home. The resident was in shock after finding the suspect and did not call 9-1-1 right away.

The suspect is described as a white male, 6’ tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The incident occurred at 10:15 a.m.

2900 block of Hawkridge Drive in La Crescenta, a resident reported that he arrived at his home about 3 p.m. and went upstairs to his bedroom. As he passed his parents’ bedroom he noticed the door was open and dresser drawers, including the nightstands, were opened and ransacked. The closet door was also open and items ransacked. The resident went into his bedroom and found it ransacked, and his bedroom window was smashed. An office was also ransacked. It was not immediately known if anything was missing. The burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 3:05 p.m.

1000 block of Fairview Drive in La Cañada, a resident reported returning home to find the sliding glass door shattered on the side of his home. Upon investigation deputies found several rooms inside the home had been ransacked. Nothing was reported stolen at the time.

The burglary occurred between 9:03 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
