USC Verdugo Hills Hospital issued a statement regarding the ratified contract with the California Nurses Association:
“USC Verdugo Hills Hospital is pleased to have reached a contract agreement with California Nurses Association, which represents nearly 260 registered nurses at the hospital. The agreement follows a streamlined four-month negotiation period despite delays due to the Los Angeles wildfires in January.
“The new contract is effective through December 2028 and includes multiple benefit enhancements, including access to additional paid time off and wage improvements.
“Our registered nurses provide world class, compassionate care and we are excited to move forward with a contract that continues to attract and retain top talent as well as demonstrates our commitment and support for our caregivers and to the surrounding community.”
