4400 block of La Crescenta Avenue, a vehicle belonging to the First Baptist Church – La Crescenta and a wall on church property was vandalized with spray painted graffiti between
2 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.

March 29
4300 Ocean View Boulevard in Montrose, all four tires of a vehicle were slashed after being parked in a carport between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m.

4100 block of Hampstead Road in La Cañada Flintridge, a man had parked his vehicle at the location and had taken his mountain bicycle for a ride in a nearby canyon. He noticed a man wearing a dark grey hooded sweater, described as 20 to 25 years old with short blonde hair, blue eyes, about 6”2” tall and weighing 190 pounds. The man was sitting in a 1990 two-door grey BMW.

As he passed the man the bicyclist reportedly said, “Good morning.” The man did not reply, so the bicyclist reportedly said, “I guess not then” and he went on his ride. When he returned he discovered both of his vehicles front tires were slashed. The BMW and driver were gone. The incident occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.

1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard in La Cañada, a 33-year-old Pasadena man was arrested for suspicion of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. The man was found parked in his vehicle in the rear parking lot of the United Artist Theater. The arrest occurred at 2:11 a.m.

March 26
4900 block of Rosemont Avenue in La Crescenta, a 22-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested on suspicion of possession of concentrated cannabis. The deputy responded to a call concerning a young man selling magazines door to door. The deputy confronted the man and asked him if he was selling magazines; when asked if he was in possession of anything illegal, he allegedly told the deputy he had some “wax” (the term used for concentrated cannabis).

The deputy found the drug and the man was arrested at 3:26 p.m.
