A water service leak at a house in the 2500 block of Whittier Drive temporarily closed the street to traffic. A section of the street near the home is now open to single lane vehicular traffic. Water will be shut off  to just the one house affected by the leak.

According to Crescenta Valley Water District, CVWD crews are on scene and are waiting for workers from Southern California Gas Company to arrive to verify the location of gas pipes so they can begin to safely dig to repair the damaged pipe.
